Goff’s Oak is often seen as an affluent and comfortable community, however, many residents still face real challenges. Rising household bills, reduced winter fuel allowances, unexpected setbacks, and the loneliness or isolation felt by some can leave people struggling quietly, often unnoticed. Our Food Pantry and Warm Space ensures no one slips through the net.

Each week, we provide essential items including ambient foods, fresh produce and basic household supplies, along with hot drinks, light refreshments and a warm, friendly place to connect. Whether you need practical help, company or simply a safe space to breathe, you are welcome here. There's no need to register, just pop in on Sunday.

We know that no church is perfect, but at Canaan Church, we work hard to love, challenge, and support each other. We truly are a family church, celebrating life’s special moments together and helping one another through prayer, practical assistance, and care. So, just come as you are—there’s no pressure to share anything until you’re ready. We’re here to support you at your own pace!
